So, after reading this post I began to think about a couple of things: 

1. Who are my favorite Black superheroes.
2. Which Black superhero is the most underrated ever?

While there can be an argument for many Black superheroes, I’m gonna do a Monica Rambeau appreciation post. 

She is arguably one of the most powerful people in the Marvel Universe and she’s vastly underused, all the time. She’s quickly shuffled to the side as a character that is handy for adding diversity to the team but not much else.

Which is why, I think, I fell in love with her with NextWAVE in which she took the lead. Sure it was comedy and pointless, but it was also the first time I saw Monica in the lead, which was rare in any comic to have a Black woman in the lead. 

But yeah, Monica Rambeau rocks. That is all.
