A lot of the time, those investigating the effects of the internet on social connections focus on the negative.

But those of us who have grown up with the internet, who are used to the idea of being able to make friends with people all over the planet?

We get neglected.

Not to mention all the people who wouldn’t have any friends at all if not for the internet.
