“When I was younger I used to have really wild hair like Merida. I was teased a lot for it. Kids would pull it, stick stuff in it, and even shove their faces in my hair. So I started wearing it up in a ponytail to keep it tame, and at the age of 22 I still do. The curls have kind of flattened over time. It sucks to see that today so many people are in love with Merida’s hair, yet I was always teased because of it and don’t have the confidence to let it go wild again.”
