See, genuine confusion. She really doesn’t want anything to do with it, and sure, some of that is informed by past bad experiences where she’s decided guys aren’t really worthy of romantic love, but I think the fact she’s never “fixed” and it’s presented as something she wants, and being a perfectly fine decision on her part that’s not unfulfilling for her, that’s what’s positive and praiseworthy to me.
